Lou Frost sighed as she plugged in the music jack to her own ipod with her usual song set and checked her phone one last time for a call from the baby-sitter she left in charge of her three children. Her babies, her joy and pride and so much more. She smirked as she grabbed the tiny remote that controlled the music throughout the entire large parkour compound as she hit play and her feet bounce off the platform she was on as she inhaled and then went into her usual course her breathing easy and steady as she jumped and rolled from platform to platform with ease as her mind went over the last few years

I used to bite my tongue and hold my breath
Scared to rock the boat and make a mess
So I sat quietly, agreed politely
I guess that I forgot I had a choice
I let you push me past the breaking point
I stood for nothing, so I feel for everything

Lou grimaced as the lyrics made her think of her past almost serious relationship. One she thought would bring her children close to a real family. A wonderful woman she’d almost let herself fall too hard for. She shook her head as she landed a little hard on the floor on one of her jumps from a pretty high ledge as she let her body roll with it some and she got back up running around the corner and running to jump the wall carefully. She let the tears fall down her face easily as she continued around the course thinking of the many night’s she had spent with the woman in her bed…and they many more that followed alone or with a bottle of wine in her bed as her children slept peacefully. Oh how she was glad they didn’t know too much of why she had left them. Of why their Ma’s friend suddenly stopped coming to the house so much. She was glad Gina her oldest was wise enough to keep her younger siblings distracted enough to not ask. Thank the gods for that angelic young girl she often though.

You held me down, but I got up
Already brushing off the dust
You hear my voice, you hear that sound
Like thunder, gonna shake the ground
You held me down, but I got up
Get ready cause I’ve had enough
I see it all, I see it now

Lou chuckled darkly at those words. She had made quite a thunderous response to being left when being so close to what she wanted for her and her children. So close only to be thrown away as if they all meant nothing more than a quick way to better things. She had thrown herself into her work after that. Her restaurant soaring in success, and her skill in parkour increasing to an insane amount. But she then almost lost her children…she almost left them behind but she quickly one night was stopped by doing so by the three miracles themselves. Worriedly looking at their mother as she punched the crap out of boxing bag in their house’s gym. Her little Gina Marie, quickly not becoming so little in her night gown that befitted a princess. Then beside her in her ever bright and colorful pjs was her little Anise Margaret, her extremely similar face and tastes to her mother sticking out as she looked from her older sister to their mother as she held the hand of her much smaller brother. Then there was her very much miracle baby, her little Conner Joshua, her little Mama’s boy who she’d be nothing without. She loved all three of them so much and their scared looks that night as she turned around from beating the bag up her knuckles bloodied and broken. Seeing how honestly worried they all were for her broke her hardened heart again. She had dropped to her knees and cried after opening up her arms and all three ran to hug her. That night… they all four slept in Lou’s large king bed. Cuddled into Lou as if she was their life source and Lou holding them close as if there was no other way to go about it.

I got the eye of the tiger, a fighter, dancing through the fire
Cause I am a champion and you’re gonna hear me ROAR
Louder, louder than a lion
Cause I am a champion and you’r gonna hear me ROAR
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
You’re gonna hear me ROAR

And roar Lou had. She had roared out against her ex-lover in a way that showed she was done. She took back what was her’s to keep with ease and made sure it was known she was done with her for good and forever. She had changed locks and everything in her house as well just to be safe. She made her schedule so she could spend time making her work and her passion for parkour even better, but also so she could spend time with her children who became Lou’s driving force once again. And driving force they were. Lou soon opened a few more locations of her restaurant quickly on her way to starting a chain. One of the up and coming bachelorettes of the year according to a few articles. But one who was also a good role model for single mothers they also said. Something she openly laughed at with a few of her friends on the nights they stopped over to see the woman and her children. Often it was one old friend in particular that had recently moved near Lou and her children. Sarah O’Leary, an old school friend of Lou’s who had quickly become her dearest friend through everything. Well one of them at least. There was also Sarah and Lou’s old usual group; Janette Hamms, a resident graphic designer who Lou often employed for logo’s for her restaurant things; Ingrid Corsak, a resident teacher whom actually was the private tutor for Lou’s children; and lastly there was the ever fiery and always on par with Lou’s own restaurant, Kathleen Harrison, who ran a little home store near Lou’s original restaurant and had always been in a slightly heated competition with the other woman…there always being a layer of something else between the two women. Something Sarah always enjoyed to tease Lou about without fail.

Now I’m floating like a butterfly
Stinging like a bee I earned my stripes
I went from zero, to my own hero

You held me down, but I got up
Already brushing off the dust
You hear my voice, you hear that sound
Like thunder, gonna shake the ground
You held me down, but I got up
Get ready ‘cause I’ve had enough
I see it all, I see it now.

Lou smiled as the song continued on finishing just as she rounding the last corner of the section she was in as she landed softly in the pit full of foam squares. She looked up to the celling…pure glass so she could see the skyline in the darkness yet the moon’s very bright light shining down from it. She sighed as she went over what Sarah had bluntly told her…Sarah and two of the friend’s Lou had made through the astute art business woman, Addison and Barbra told her that is. That she should get over Nora..Nulla..N-whatever her face was and perhaps take what was right in front of the woman’s face and see where it went. Although…at Lou’s blank confused stare a resounding slap echoed in her home as Sarah promptly took the back of her hand to Lou’s cheek shocking everyone in the room including Sarah herself at the time that was until she explained things to the every obtuse Elouise.

~Flashback~

Sarah grumbled before she looked Lou straight in the face her hand still extended after the slap to Lou’s face. “Are you that block headed Lou?! Katie…Kathleen you dolt. She loves you and we all know it. You too click the best of any of us have ever seen. She opens up and trusts you more than she does to anyone. You do banter ideas like you do were born doing it. She looks at you kinder then anyone aside from her costumers. She loves your children and spoils them rotten worse than you do. She is in love with you and she won’t push it because she knows you see her as only a friend. You are hurting her and ruining your chances perhaps for real love life and a family for your kids. I honestly have never been more astoundingly appalled at your behavior. Honestly Lou. Just open your damn blind eyes and see what is there for you to take freely and wanted.” The woman had said before grabbing her purse and the barely opened bottle of wine as she left the house in a huff the other two merely nodding in agreement saying they’d call later before leaving to check on Sarah.

~End of Flashback~

Lou had sat there for an hour thinking of Sarah’s words before she just went to her room and slept on it. Having only one very…warm and confusing dream before calling her usual babysitter saying she needed her to come stay at the house for a tiny bit while she checked on something late at night. She was glad she didn’t ask but said as incentive she’d pay the young woman double for her work. So to her private parkour building she’d gone. And now…now Lou was sure. It was time to put the past behind her. It was time to move on, cut her losses and perhaps...find new love. New love in the shape of a bold, feisty, but caring dark haired woman she’d never truly seen before. It was time Elouise Frost finally took a chance and went for the love she deserved. And chance she was going to take. She smirked as she got up and headed back towards her home near the beach a plan already forming in her head. A wicked, delightful, romantic plan indeed.

Just a little snippit on here of my new/old original story characters. Lou's getting a bit of an update so yeah ;3;
